World Cup is going on and what happened today in the matchup between England and Iran was about more than just the game! The Iranian soccer team chose to remain silent while the Iranian national anthem was played, in support of the women and all those fighting for human rights in Iran! (Link to video below) Can't begin to imagine the risk involved in humiliating their government on the world stage! Praying for their safety, the safety of their family, and for all of the people fighting for women's rights (human rights) in Iran!
These guys are true heroes and their bravery is humbling!
